For me there came a time when I realized my appreciation for animals (and their innocence) did not end with cats and dogs or other domesticated animals. I became aware of the horrors of factory farming and how detrimental animal agriculture is to the environment. There appear to be health benefits in eating fewer animals too. I said I loved animals and cared about the environment. I wanted to be healthier.
I decided to align my beliefs with what I put on my plate. It took some time. It wasn’t always easy. But it really did feel right, it felt authentic, it felt transformative – because it was!
Perhaps you have thought about consuming fewer animals too. I can help, whether you want to cut a little bit or a lot.
I’ve been vegan since 2007 after many years of vegetarianism. In 2013 I attended the Main Street Vegan Academy in New York, NY. It was a wonderful experience and the founder, author Victoria Moran, has been a friend and mentor ever since.
As a Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Educator I’ve assisted dozens of people who desired to incorporate their love of animals and our planet into every meal they eat.
